Uploading to niconico?

Uh, so I know that lots of people have uploaded their videos on niconico. I was just wondering, is there anything we... have to do before uploading to niconico?

Like... asking for permission to the producer / arranger / PV maker / anything... And moreover since some of us are not premium members (or at least I'm talking about non premium members), we can't really use html or anything so we can't give link to the original song on your description, right?

And then for the tagging too, etc etc.

Not sure about asking permission, but you can put links in the description. They just won't be actual links. XD That's what copying and pasting is for.

Mm... because last time in a nicoradio thingy, there was an interview with wotamin about starting to sing on niconico, and she said something about asking permission... @___@;;;

But I guess out of hundreds of people who cover popular songs (*cough*mozaik role*cough*), it's impossible for all of them to... just, mail Deco and wait for his response or something... xD;;;

for linking to other videos, it's okay to just put the sm number or the mylist number. Eg. sm11884641, mylist/14467818 or user/11557734
it will automatically be made into a link.

HTML cannot be used unless you are a premium member. Also, you will have to encode your videos into a suitable size before uploading or else the quality will be kinda bleeegh xD
