Using stock photos is a massive issue, actually. Normally only media firms are able to draw the huge amount of money required for stock photo usages. Vocaloid Producers are indie/small time people and cannot AFFORD to pay should the companies ask to compensate. I know for one that buzzG, who I'm friends with (yunomi made is Marygold PV) can barely afford to sleep. Vocaloid producers sell their albums for a fraction of what would be expected from a professional company, and chances are the amount of money that might be racked up from having to compensate is likely to be a problem for them.

There's also the fact no one wants to see a famous song spammed with hate comments. I'd private my video if it came to that ;_;
