I just downloaded Adobe Audition (3.0) a few days ago, and I've been testing the program and figuring out how to use it.

I've found that apparently, when I record, if I click ANYTHING ELSE on my screen, the recording automatically stops! >.<
This is somewhat of a problem because I do need to scroll up the lyrics page halfway through most songs to see the rest of the lyrics.
So I was wondering if there was a way to turn this off/change it so it won't automatically stop whenever I click something else?
Or is this something that comes with the program and I just have to figure out how to record without clicking anything else?

Thanks very much!

This has happened to be when I have two Adobe Audition windows opened.... Check if any other program you have is related [linked?] to Adobe Audition [sound cards? sound interfaces etc?] and turn them off while using Adobe Audition...

I'll try >.< Not very good with computers =D
The only other thing I have opened is Youtube (so I can hear the song) and a forum (with the lyrics)
Is Youtube related? I mean...it does use sound cards to play the song right...?
Somewhat confused >.<

Hm... Well, having a window opened does not mean that you only have those programs on... Sometimes you have programs that does not use up a window space [like they might be hidden?]...
And yes, sound card is the application that allows you to have sound on your computer, but what I meant is that sometimes you have extra plugins in that sound card that blocks other programs... Check around to see oAo;;
Another solution would be uninstalling Audition ...

I think it's because it's enabled in the preferences, that it automatically stops playing when you open something else.
Go into the preferences and try to fine out where to disable the function >_< good luck!
